Hidden among olive trees and sea views is a place you won’t soon forget. Our small-scale resort in the special area of Balzi Rossi – on the border of Italy and France – feels like a discovery from the very first moment. Here everything is about peace, space and views. Each apartment and bungalow overlooks the Mediterranean Sea, with a 180-degree panoramic view. The sea is within walking distance, as is the beach where the days naturally slow down. The saltwater pool is nestled among the greenery and completes the picture.
What makes this place extra special is Balzi Rossi’s microclimate. Sunny days are the rule rather than the exception here. Even off-season, it feels light and mild. Our four types of boutique houses are named after Italian hotspots. Each with its own atmosphere, but all with the same feeling: freedom, sun and views.
Feel like going out? Nearby are charming villages, markets and coastal towns that invite to be discovered. From a cappuccino in the morning sun to a long lunch by the sea. And afterwards … just return to your own place.
Boutique Bungalow: Siena.
A detached cottage for 4 to 6 people.
Boutique Bungalow SIENA is a detached vacation home with 180° sea view from all rooms. There are 2 separate bedrooms, each with its own bathroom (shower, sink, toilet and bidet). In the large living room there is a sofa suitable for sleeping on (1 teenager or 2 children), a smart TV and sonos music system. The kitchen/kitchinette has a luxury espresso machine and kettle by Smeg, an induction cooktop with four burners. The fridge has enough space for your own treats and a small freezer compartment. All our holiday homes have air conditioning and heating. Outside is a beautiful tree trunk table with 6 chairs.
Boutique Bungalow: Lucca.
A detached house for 2 to 4 people.
Boutique Bungalow Lucca is a detached vacation home with sea view. We have two Lucca’s, both free standing, next to each other. Therefore they are ideal when you are on vacation with friends or family. Enjoying the beautiful view from your lounge chair, eating at the luxurious picnic bench under the veranda or relaxing on your own sun terrace. This type of house is more of a lodge and has a double bed (which can be used as twins) and a divan sofa/bed, suitable as a bed for 1 adult or 2 children, a smart TV and sonos. The kitchen has a deluxe espresso machine, teamaker, stove and a refrigerator/minibar.
Boutique Apartment: Roma.
A semi-detached cottage for 2 adults (and a child).
Boutique apartment “Roma” is a semi-detached vacation home with sea views and a sunny patio terrace. Ideal if you travel with teenagers and rent two houses next to each other – the patios are adjacent to each other, but separated with a bamboo fence. Roma 1 + 2 and Roma 4 + 5 are next to each other. So you have your own place, but still close by. Inside you will find one spacious, open living space – so no separate bedrooms. Er staan twee tweepersoonsbedden (180 x 200 cm, ook los van elkaar te gebruiken) en een vaste divanbank/bed van 140 x 200 cm, geschikt voor een kind.
The kitchen/kitchinette is compact but well-equipped: with a deluxe espresso machine, kettle, four-zone induction cooktop and a refrigerator with a freezer compartment that holds plenty of goodies. There is also a smart TV for movie nights and a Sonos speaker to put on your own music – from lazy jazz to beachy beats. The layout of type Roma is the same as that of vacation home Lucca. The difference? Lucca is completely detached and has a private garden with additional terrace. We also rent bungalow Lucca to families with two children under 12 years.
Boutique Bungalow: Capri.
A detached vacation home for 6 to 8 people.
Holiday home type Capri is a detached seaside cottage with 3 bedrooms. The living room has a double bed and and divan sofa (suitable for 1 adult or 2 children), smart TV and sonos. In the bedroom there is a double bed and in the back of the house there is another bedroom with a double bed. All double beds can also be used separately. This house has truly beautiful views of the Mediterranean Sea and a private garden with a luxurious picnic bench and sun beds. In the patio there is a cozy lounge seat. In the kitchen you will find a deluxe espresso machine, kettle, an induction cooktop with four burners and a minibar/fridge. There are two bathrooms with shower, toilet, sink and bidet.
