The 2 Lucca’s are on a separate mountain terrace (where you can see the green grass), above the 5 Roma’s. The Capri is next to the pool. And Siena to the left of the Roma’s: You can see a video on our instagram account.

Even though we made as many adjustments as possible for guests in a wheelchair, I’ll tell you frankly that it’s not really a suitable location for people who difficulty walking. The area is hilly, the roads are old and rocky (old Roman path).

Absolutely! You have a choice of several beaches. There is a public pebble beach (check Google Maps Baia Benjamin), several rocky beaches and the famous beach club Spiagetta Balzi Rossi. The distance is 100 to 200 meter.

There is a railway line along the coast but it doesn’t bother you much. A train passes by at most twice an hour. The holiday homes are super soundproof. So a train or a party on the beach will not bother you. All our guests sleep like roses.

On the beach, you can eat at Baya Benjamin/Twiga or Spiaggia dei Balzi Rossi. At the entrance you will find a restaurant with a Michelin Star, very original, called Ristorante Balzi Rossi. In the port of Menton, you will also find plenty of restaurants. Download our free travel guide and you’ll have our favorites.

To be honest, our holiday park is ideal for couples or families with older children. Because the location is rather mountainous, it is not ideal with a buggy or exploring toddlers. Our experience is that children easily make contact with each other. So nice! Swimming together, going to the beach to snorkel or play games. Sure. From Nice Airport (Nice Augustin) you can take the train. to Menton Garavan. From there it is a 20-minute walk. But a beautiful route along the coast.

The Roma’s en Lucca’s are one room. In Italië this is called a: LUXURY ROOM. Siena has 2 separate bedrooms and Capri has 1 bedroom and a living room/bedroom. At the back of the Capri is a separate room that is very suitable for a child to sleep.

Around the resort you will find several free beaches (100 meters). If you look on Google Maps you will see a large beach on the right (pebble) and there are several rocky beaches on the left. Close to our resort is a beach club and it indeed charges high prices because a lot of people from Monaco go there. The food is really good though and the water is turquoise. From October 1 to May 1, you can just swim and sunbathe here. There is a secret beach in Ventimiglia, at least for tourists, where all the local Italians go: Calandre. It is a sandy beach and you can swim there because the sea is shallow for a long time. There is a beach tent near it where you can eat and drink. Enjoy!

No but you can have breakfast with us. But opposite the parking lot is a small supermarket for coffee, among other things. There is fresh bread at the cash register! And of course you can also walk to the French bakery L’ami du pain. The croissants really are the best in France!

We love dogs but… Dogs (and other pets) are not allowed in our vacation homes for hygienic reasons and because of possible allergies of following guests. They are of course welcome on our terrace (leashed) if you want to have lunch or a drink.

You can use our shuttle service but not for free. The cost is €19 per time. We have to free someone for this in terms of work.

Balzi Rossi is a protected archaeological area. Therefore, it is only accessible to residents. You can park for free and we will pick you up with you luggage. It is approximately a 10 minute walk from your holiday home to you car. A beautyful daily walk!

No but the public parking lot is only 100 meters from a secure border crossing so it is safe there. Because of the strict migration policy in France there is a lot of police presence 24/7. At least we have never experienced anything nasty in all these years.

No we don’t. In the port Menton Garavan there are two large washing machines, 9 and 18 kilos and a dryer. You can use these for a fee. Detergent is included. The supermarket is 100m away and there are terraces everywhere where you can have a nice coffee in the meantime. The washing machines are next to this restaurant. Op de rotonde bij de Conad in Ventimiglia-Latte is een wasserette.

The distance from the parking lot to the house is 450m. It is a bit hilly but our 5 year old daughter walked it easily. It is only tricky with a stroller (old Roman path) or if you have mobility problems.
