Sander and Marcia make a great team, and with the addition of Chef Gildian(a joy) and his wife…even better. ????
It is always a pleasure to return with our children and be surrounded by the magic of the olive trees and the waters below. The quiet, the calm, the light needed movement, the essentials, nature…., all made for a rejuvenating stay. I can still feel the water on my skin.
We wish continued success, a welcoming energy that stays grounded in authenticity, and look forward to our return. Again, and again. Thank you Sander. Thank you Marcia. ??

We have been really well and friendly recieved with our family with 3 young kids in Balzi Resort. The swimming pool is really nice with kids and the view fantastic! The dinner was really fresh and wel cooked, and the staff very friendly and helpfull.
We had a great time! Must visit!

Un lieux vraiment exceptionnel !! Un accueil chaleureux ! Franchement malgré les difficultés de langue car je ne parle que le français, ils on fait l’effort de me comprendre et je les remercie … ils sont très disponible pour la moindre demande… le restaurant est de très bonne qualité le personnel est très gentil et à l’écoute !! Si je dois regretter une chose ces la durée de mon séjour j’aurais aimer rester plus longtemps. Ma famille c’est régaler et moi aussi ! Vous êtes vraiment sympathique est très chaleureux! Had a great experience at this brand new resort located in the fairy tale beautiful Balzi Rossi bay near the French border. The scenic, quiet location apart from the crowd, the stylish design of the cozy bungalow houses, the swimming pool and the service all were worth five stars. Tip for first time visitors, park your car at the nearby Balzi Rossi parking, which is past the last tunnel right before the French customs.

This place is amazing. The views are spectacular. The grounds are flawless. I can not say enough about this place. We came from USA and stayed here. It’s walking distance to France and a train ride to Monte Carlo and more. On the grounds they have a bar/restaurant. The food is amazing. They will treat you like a king and queen for your stay. The owners are very much involved and make sure you have a fabulous stay. If you are traveling this way make sure you check this place out. It’s a must.

A very unexpected gem in Liguria!

Although this part on the coast has no shortage of great stays, this resort stands out. Sander is a great host, the resort is very well designed, super clean, and the views from the rooms and pool are unmatched. The feeling of being in an archaeological sight is very unique, and the rocky beach that’s a 10 minute walk from the resort is fantastic. The one thing that could be a downside for some people is that the resort is not accessible by car. It’s a 10-15 minute uphill walk, however the amazing views along the walk are more than encouraging. Sander also picked us up with a big golf cart to take all of our luggage. If needed, he can also give a lift up or down. We had breakfast and dinner at the resort a few times. Gildian, the chef, was always welcoming and accommodating to all of our requests. The dinner was great every time, the deserts were delicious, but the breakfast could’ve been more elaborate.

All in all we really enjoyed our stay at the resort, and we will definitely be coming back someday!

Fantastica location situata sopra l’omonima spiaggia “Balzi Rossi”, un paradiso a pochi metri dalla frontiera che divide l’Italia dalla Francia. Si tratta di un resort di nuovissima costruzione (aperto in estate 2022) gestito da una famiglia olandese molto cordiali ed attenti alle esigenze dei clienti. C’è la possibilità di far colazione, pranzare e cenare, la cucina e’ gestita da una coppia di giovani ragazzi molto simpatici e bravi a cucinare il pesce! Ho soggiornato con la mia famiglia dal 10 al 20 agosto, e’ stata una vacanza all’insegna del relax. L’anno prossimo ci torneremo sicuramente! Complimenti al proprietario Sander e a tutto il suo team del Resort Balzi Rossi

Siamo stati invitati a cena da un amico ieri sera in questo angolo di paradiso. La location è meravigliosa e la vista da togliere il fiato. Tutto è curato nei minimi particolari con un gusto elegante, romantico ma allo stesso tempo semplice. Abbiamo cenato nella splendida terrazza sotto gli ulivi con vista sull’incantevole spiaggia di baia Benjamin. Ci hanno accolti Giljan e sua moglie, sorridenti, gentilissimi, professionali, discreti e simpatici al punto giusto. Avevamo la terrazza solo per noi e il servizio è stato veloce e impeccabile. L’antipasto era delizioso e l’orata al forno con verdure era molto buona. È stata una serata magica, da ripetere sicuramente!

This was an absolutely incredible stay!
It exceeded our expectations, from the atmosphere to the service, everything was impeccable.
We celebrated two birthdays and they had everything decorated so lovely. They were very accommodating and prompt with timing. Communication was easy and great. The rooms are clean and the view is stunning! We can’t wait to get back for another stay.
