If you look on Google Maps you will see a large beach on the right (pebble) and there are several rocky beaches on the left. Close to our resort is a beach club and it indeed charges high prices because a lot of people from Monaco go there. The food is really good though and the water is turquoise. From October 1 to May 1, you can just swim and sunbathe here. There is a secret beach in Ventimiglia, at least for tourists, where all the local Italians go: Calandre. It is a sandy beach and you can swim there because the sea is shallow for a long time. There is a beach tent near it where you can eat and drink.
